_. Myrtle Manns... By Riek by Mrs. Earl Reader On Wed. evening 25 ladies met at the home of Mrs. We were pleased to welcome Mrs. Maudie Travell of Oshawa and Mrs. Bev. VanKessel with her new baby as guests. It was noted that only 3 members were necessarily absent. After opening, we realized the theme chosen by Helen Redman's group was "Prayer". The study took the form of a skit on The Lord's Prayer conducted by Doreen Adam and Marion Hughes. Doreen appeared dressed for bed, and as the custom is with many, de- cided to finish the day with prayer. As she repeated each line of the Lord's Prayer, the voice of the Lord (portrayed by Marion) came thro' to question her sincerity, actions and motives. In reply, each time, Doreen tried to ex- press her true feelings and defend her actions, but saw her errors. As the prayer continued, we were able to apply all the comments and questions to ourselves. Appreciation had been received from the Hospital Auxiliary for help received also from Flora Muffitt and Elva Martyn of Toronto for Easter remembrances. Mrs. Lenore Blueman is doing a fine job of looking after the sick and those who need special attention. We again renewed our membership with the Scugog Social Planning Council.
