Plan special program for Education Week The students and teachers of Prince Albert and Raglan Schools are planning special programs and activities to celebrate the Multicultural- ism theme for Education Week, April 16-22. This year's theme, Parle-moi de toi - Speak to me of your- self, will involve each class- room studying and explor- ing the origins and culture of a different ethnic group. The students will be concen- "trating on such' cultures as the Greek, Italian, French, Ukranian, Dutch, Swiss and Native Peoples. Film and slide presentations, guest speakers, craft and doll dis- plays are some of the inter- esting activities which have been planned. Some classes will try their hand at pre- paring the traditional foods of their chosen ethnic group. It is hoped the students will gain new insight into the concept of Canada as a multicultural nation. Parents and friends are invited to Open House at Prince Albert and Raglan Schools, April 20 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. to visit the classrooms and view the student's dis- plays. Door to door bread sale by Dolores Fletcher On Wednesday, April 19th at 6:30 p.m. Your Seventh Day Adventist Neighbours will be going door to door selling loaves of freshly baked bread. In an effort to help others enjoy better health we wish to start in this small way by introducting Port Perry residents to a more whole- some diet. Our bread will be of 100 per cent whole wheat flour with no additives or preser- vatives added to the flour. We look forward to meet- ing you all as we start this health education endeavour in your area.
