The members come from Osh- awa, Peterborough, Port Perry and the Uxbridge area. The Group meets once a week in Uxbridge for painting and constructive criticism sessions. They also organize workshops for demonstrations in pen and ink sketching, water col- ours, perspective, abstract art and oil painting tech- niques. SPRING TREE PLANTING The Lindsay District of the Ministry of Natural Resourc- es will plant approximately 800,000 seedlings between now and May 15, such as: Red and White Pine, White and Norway Spruce, Cedar, European Larch, White Ash, Black Locust, Sugar and Silver Maple, Red Oak and Carolina Poplar, on approxi- mately 900 acres of land. The planting will be done on private land under the Woodlands Improvement Agreement. STREET CLEANING Street Cleaning will be done on Downtown Streets in Port Perry between the hours of: 1:00 A.M.
