Peek has graduated from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute with a honors B.A.A. in Applied Geography, majoring in Resource management. He is currently employed by the Environmental Application Group Ltd., Toropto. Housing Authority Mrs. Grace Love of Port Perry has been appointed to the recently formed Durham Area Housing Authority, which is responsible for all Ontario Housing projects in the Region, except those in the city of Oshawa. The new authority will manage 557 senior citizen rental units in Ajax, New- castle, Pickering, Whitby, Brock, Scugog and Ux- bridge and its offices will be located in Whitby. The Housing Authority is one of 56 across' Ontario designed to decentralize the - assisted housing manage- ment program. William McLean of Ajax was appointed chairman of the new housing authority, and Mrs. Love is joined by other officers from the Whitby, Beaverton, Ux- bridge and Hampton areas. The appointments were announced May 11 by Ont- ario Claude Bennett.
