- PORT PERRY STAR -- Wednesday, May 17, 1978 Prince Albert and area news By Ruth Bonnell Mother Nature is either out to try our patience or she is enjoying herself teasing us. She gives us weather sa warm everyone is putting away wititer coats and heavy clothes. Out comes the lawn chairs and barbecue sets. Folks just have time to get comfortable and relax in the sun, thén Mother Nature decides to pull another fast one. It gets cold again. Everyone is back to heavy coats and turning up their furnace. This weekend she gave us rain, rain, rain. 1 hope she soon tires of these changes and gives us the beautiful sunshine for at least a few months. Mrs. Mary Tetlow has settled nicely into her new apartment in town. Her daughter, Mrs. Adrian Haines, spent Thursday with her. I really miss having Mary upstairs to chat with when ever I got a new pair of slacks, I'd trot up the stairs to see Mary, climb on her white stool and she would pin them up to the right lengtn for me. At times, when I was preparing the news_and it just wasn't coming out right, I could always go up and see Mary, and cry on her should- er. You'd be surprised how much it helped.
