Miss Laurie Millar visiting relatives at Ottawa this week. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Holtby of Innerkip visiting Mr. and Mrs. Roy Dobson Saturday evening. Mrs. Meta Holtby visiting her daughter Mrs. Dyle Thompson and Ian in New Market recently. Friends of Mr. Alex Johns will be pleased to know he is home from Ruddy's hospital much improved in health. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Lawler visiting the Woods family at Turo, N.S. this week. Mr. and Mrs. G. Marcotte visiting friends and relatives in Parry Sound and Sudbury last week. Prince Albert Continued parents, being good sports accepted the challenge. It was lots of fun even if the teachers did win. Never mind, next year, we'll take them on again. : ' Decoration Day Services were held in the Prince Albert Cemetery on Sunday. This service was made poss- ible by the members of the Warriner Lodge and the Rebekah Lodge. Brother Stan Rahm was the chairman and the speak- er was Rev. Chas. Clarke. The choir sang some lovely pieces accompanied by Sis- ter Edna Beckett at the organ. The grounds looked imma- culate, thanks to our ceme- tery caretaker, George Hall. many beautiful flowers were placed throughout the ceme- tery. Several folks from here attended the 40th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. H. Lee of Nestleton, on Sun- day. For the gentleman, who asked me to put something in the paper this week about the house numbers, I want you to know I haven't forgotten, but will be submitting an article on it next week. Pam Stolar of Spanish is spending the week with her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ben Smith.
