Cofitinued from page 1 and struck a third vehicle driven by Michael Lupu of Scarborough. Police are looking for the driver of the second vehicle as it did not stop after the accident took place. FAILED TO REMAIN Police are also looking for the driver of a blue truck after it was involved in a collision June 28, also on Highway 12 at the 6th Con- cession. The accident occurred about 7:00 a.m. as David Wesley James of Greenbank slowed to make a left turn onto the 6th Concession, and was struck when the truck attempted to go around. Damage to the James vehicle, a 1977 LeMans, is estimated by police at $3500 and the driver suffered minor injuries. CHARGES LAID A Mississauga man has been charged by police with failing to yield following a two car accident June 26 on Highway 12 just north of Regional Road 8. Police report that Manfred Sliasas allegedly pulled onto Highway 12 and struck a southbound vehicle driven by, - William Emundson of Scarborough, causing an estimated $650 damage to both cars. There were no injuries in the accident which occured about 11:30 in the morning. VW ROLLS A single car accident on Concession 2 June 27 caused an estimated $1000 damage. Police report that Mar- garet Anne Sherk of Toronto lost control of a Volkswagon, went onto the right shoulder, veered across the road, and then rolled the car in the left ditch. There were no injuries to the driver or two females passengers, both from Oshawa. CAR FIRE A fire thought to have started by electrical wiring caused an estimated $750 - damage to a car driven by Lois Donovan of Oshawa. The fire started in the engine compartment as the Utica news by Vera Brown Church service on Sunday, July 9th will be held at 9 a.m. at Utica United Church. Dr. Price from Stouffville will be in charge of the service. Our Minister Rev. THEFTS A set of four mag wheels and tires valued at $900 was stolen from a pick-up truck June 29 at M and R Auto Body in Manchester, andin a seperate incident thieves walked away with $210 worth of life jackets and gas cans from a boat at the Port Perry Marina.
