The Seagrave kids are getting wet but in an- other way; the first session of swimming lessons came to a close on Friday at the Branton pool. - 'Another ses- sion begins in August. On Sunday the session con- ducted the church service. with Mr. Daigle ast guest speaker. Happy 8th birthday to Master Paul Wanamaker who contributed his pennies to the birthday box. All this week Vacation Bible School is in progress in Greenbank. Lets hope it is as successful as in previous years. Mr, and Mrs. Ron Wana- Sunday when they played the "Oakwood A Mens fastball team. Many Seagravers enjoyed the outing and then went out to dinner before attending another sport spectacular in Little Britain Sunday evening. Our Seagrave old timers won a close game over the number 2 team from Little Britian by a score of 18 to 15. Three home runs, two by John Vernon and the third by Len Sommerville advanced the score in our favour, Last week our local greats won over the Oakwood team which gives - Seagrave two big wins in a row.
