Once again Gordon Brown for Blacstock took the initiative and scored his 5th goal of the night, then his team-mate Ian Porter scored two more goals, final- ly Port seemed to get their second wind as Allard Flam - scored a goal with a great pass from Michael Fluke, then Red Devil Paul Bate- man scored his second goal of the night with an assist again from Michael Fluke. Lots of excellent team work throughout the entire game from both teams. Final score was 7 to 3 for Black- stock United. Atom: Port Cleaner Phan- toms and Port Golden Eagles battled it out at Port Perry High last Wednesday. A terrific game with lots of team participation. Only one goal scored in the first half by Phantom James Cawker with an assist by Zac. Co- hoon. During the second half Sean Fisher for the Golden Eagles scored a goal on a penalty shot. Then in the last quarter of the game Golden Eagle Andy Systma scored a goal with an assist by Adam Nicholishen ending the game 2 to 1 for Port Perry Golden Eagles. . Continued on page 2 20 'final, - ball game discontinued by Danny Millar A fight in the final game between players from Scar- borough and Willowdale forced officials to terminate the Port Perry Midget Tour- nament Sunday night with- out a winner being declared - for the three-day annual event. The near brawl which saw players from both teams scuffling on the field for several minutes before order was restored, was the last straw in a bitterly contested with bad feelings actually starting in .the previous game between the two teams, which Scarbo- rough won to force the de- -ciding match. The incident that led to the fighting came when Scar- borough's Tracy Green was thrown out on a close call at the plate by Willowdale catcher Kirk McDermott.
