MUSQUITO Last Tuesday, the Port Perry Stedman's Red Devils played Uxbridge Glitsch Canada Ltd. winning the game 6-0. The Red Devils really poured it on in the first half scoring five goals. Goal scorers were (1) Mike Woud with an assist by Ricky Millenar, (1) Ronald Rein- stra, (1) Allard Flim with an assist by Mike Woud, (1)° Paul Bateman assisted by Allard Flim, (1) Ernie Mc- Creight. Things slowed up in the second half, but still holding the lead, the Red Devils scored one more goal by Allard Flim with an assist by Todd Willerton. Ending the game 6-0. ATOM ". ort Perry Golden Eagles won their game last Wednes- day, 6-0, against Uxbridge Lions Club. It was an all out team effort with accurate passing skilled dribbling and well timed shots on goal. Needless to say, the defense played A-1 with a shut-out game by goalie Brian Dean. Two goals were scored by the Eagles in the first half, (1) Andy Sytsma, (1) Sean Fisher on a penalty shot. Lots of scoring in the second half, started off by Scott West (1), then (1) Paul Carr, followed by another penalty shop by Jimmy White and then another goal by Paul Carr. In the first five minutes of play, the Saints took the lead with one goal. Second half scoring was again. started off by the Saints, then Orange Bomber Joey Jackman scored a goal, quickly folled up by another goal by the Saints. Game ended 3-1 for Uxbridge Saints. Lift players' suspensions The two Toronto area mid- get softball teams involved in a near brawl at a tourn- ament July 16 in Port Perry have had their suspensions lifted by the Ontario Amateur Softball Associ- ation and are now allowed to take part in all playoff-and tournament play for the remainder of this year. The move came following a special meeting August 1 called by OASA president George Mahler at the re- quest of the two teams invol- ved, Scarborough Cedar Hills and Willowdale Faster Linen. Also, as a result of the August 1 meeting, the man- agers and coaches from both teams have been reinstated for the remainder of this season. However, the indefinite suspensions against four players from both teams for their part in the brawl still stand.
