" McKean-Treleaven A pretty wedding took place in Greenbank United Church, July 16th, 1978. Rev. John Roundell joined in marriage Sally Anne Tre- leaven, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don McKean, Green- bank and Bert Alexander Bishop, son of Mr. and Mrs. - William Bishop of Agincourt. Mr. Norman Watson presided over the organ. Given in marriage by Don and Helen McKean, the bride wqre a gown of white chiffon. The attendants were Penny Fitzgerald, sister of the bride and Mr. Doug Bishop, brother of the groom. The guests enjoyed a Buffet Supper at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Don McKean. Guests were from Mid- land, Port McNicoll, Osh- awa, Whitby, Don Mills, Wil- lowdale and Mississauga. After a honeymoon in Algonquin Park, Sally and Bert are now residing in Agincourt. Blackstock Fair Continued addition to the Fair. In the meeting room of the Recre- ational Centre this year the following artists will be demonstrating: Mary Lou Carnahan - pine cone craft; Clara Nesbitt - crochet artic- les; Lawrie Davie - wood carving; Mrs. Audrey Wright - floor mats, and Edda Bowman - 3D decoupage. When it gets close to 5:00, the Champion Cake will be auctioned to the highest bid- der. Several entries of baked goods to the fair will be sold by their owners in the Recre- ational Centre at the close of the day. Many people too tired to cook will head to the United Church for the Pork Barbeque. The evening' dance begins at 9:00, open to all ages. Robert Brawn was the officiating clergyman. The bride=is the daughter of Keith and Jean Sweetman Perry. The bridegroom is the son of Neil and Norene Malcolm of RR2, Blackstock. Given in marriage by her father, gown of Chantilly lace with flowing cathedral train. A flounce of silk organza trimmed the low neckline, sleeves and skirt. The flounce was interfaced with pale yellow satin ribbon and rosettes. A bridal hat was worn to match the wedding Rick Johnston's Band. Valerie Sweetman of Port - Perry, sister of the bride, was maid-of-honour. Bridesmaids were Mary Lou Malcolm and Joy Mal- colm, both of Blackstock, Kelly St. John of Pert Perry and Debbie Walsh of Port Perry. Dave Horton of Blackstock acted as best man. Ushers were Doug Cook of Milton, Gordon Malcolm of Blackstock, Ken Sweetman of Port Perry and Tom Olsen "of Prince Albert. The reception was held at the Catholic Hall in Port Perry. A short honeymoon was spent in New York State, Niagara Falls and points of interest locally. The newly- weds are residing at RR2, Blackstock.
