A new school cross walk has been installed at the rear entrance to Cornish School so that children can get across safely to the south side of the busy highway. Cutting torch used as thieves crack open safe Police are investigating a robbery during the evening of September 2 at B and W Farm Service on Highway 12 near Saintfield in which thieves used a cutting torch to open a safe. ACCIDENT REPORT A 34-year old West Hill man was taken to Port Perry Hospital after a motorcycle accident near Caesarea early Monday morning. Newcastle OPP report that Daniel Kerrigan was driving on Regional Road 57 east of Caesarea when the motor- cycle left the road. He is reported to have suffered serious injuries. In a second -motorcycle accident early in the morn- ing of September 3, Glen McKean of Scugog Township suffered a broken leg when his machine left the road on the 4th Concession west of the Marsh Hill Road. Mec- Kean has been charged by police with careless driving.
