4 Glen Vallie vs. Wes Lane In game one Glen Vallie romped home 7-0. The big scorer for Glen Vallie was Jeff Wray with 5 goals and an assist. Don Clodd with a goal and an assist, Clyde Sutcliffe and Danny Russell with single assists. Frank's Real Estate vs Lion's Club This was an exciting affair with Lion's Club coming out on top by a score of 4-2. Paul NeDowell, in goal for Lion's Club, and Wes Johnston Frank's goaltender made some outstanding stops. Frank's goals were scored by Mike Linington and Charles Walker with an assist going to Brian Goble. Mike Fluke with 2 goals and Brewster with a goal, Peter ° 2 assists, Nicky Cracknell and Steven Jackson with a goal each were the scorers for Lion's Club. Legionaires outscore opposition 13-5 On the weekend the Le- gionaires won twice. 4-2 over Ajax on Friday evening and 9-3 over Peterborough on Sunday. On Friday the local boys hosted a pee wee team from Ajax. This was. an excellent showing by the Legionaires who dominated the first two periods to build up a 4-0 lead. The big gun for the winners was Jackie Abra- ham with a hat trick, Lisa Canning and Janice Jack- man each scored singles, assists were awarded to Julie Abraham and Kim Gibb. The opposition saw Lori Spears put forth a super effort to pop in two big goals. Team juggling and line changes are still making for our tweens but the action is picking up to some Great Ringette. The Junior Belles once again treated the fans to some great action the Reds Sherri Allan was the super in the' 'House League Hockey son, Brian Stevenson, Vaughan McKee and Steve Lee with one each. In this game penalties again proved costly with Peterborough scoring twice in the third period while the local boys were outnum- bered. The Legionaires are an exciting team. In their last 4 starts they have counted on 32 occasions. Their next game is on Friday, Novem- ber 3rd at the Scugog Arena. Come out and see goals -galore, show skills star of the day with 5 big goals to her credit, Tracey Filion had a single and assists were awarded to Gail Sandison and Bonnie Bridges. The Blues put forth a valiant effort with Sharon Ashmore scoring twice and Wendy McDougall also pick- ing up a pair. Assist for the Blues went to Brenda Foote and Paula Haugen.
