The famous musical adap- tation of Bernard Shaw's play Pygmalion by Allan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe was a sell-out for three year in a New York theatre and staged with the same kind of success in countries all over ~ the World. Work has been going on at Town Hall 1873 and at the home of the driving force, Grace Hastings since early summer, and the steady progress points to another great success for the mem- bers of Scugog Choral Society. Including dancers and bit parts the cast of My Fair lady number almost 50 parti- cipants. In the main parts the public will see some of the well known local actors and actresses Catharine Millar, Charles Hastings, John Stone, George Mahaffy, . Jean Kennedy and in smaller parts others who have taken part in earlier presentations on the stage of Town Hall 1873. This is a big and costly production and demands an enormous variety of cos- tumes, intricate"arrange- ment of stage settings for the many scenes, several group dances, with demands and patience on part of choreo- grapher as well as dancers.
