Ives "Big Gun" of the day was Rhona White with six goals, Ann Hoogeveen picked up a pair and Pam Daniels found the mark for a 'sinfle. Janet Dean picked up a pair of assists and singles were credited to Jill Kendall, and K. Rines. Michelle Andrews in net for Ives played spectacularly be- tween the pipes. The lone goal for Irvins was scored by Jackie Abraham. Junior Bell action saw Childrens Boutique top Chris Allen to the tune of 8 to 2. '®hildren" goalie Wendy Burton robbed "Allen" of numerous scoring opportuni- ties. Scoring for Childrens saw Paula Haugen with two goals and three assists as did Wendy McDougall, Daphne Butt put the ring away for a pair of goals, Chris Heurkins ang Brenda Foote each had singles. Scoring for Chris Allen saw Bonnie Burton and Chris English both find the mark with a pair of assists credited to Tracy Filion. A pair of our juniors once again saw action and both performed especially well. Janice Jackman on defense and Rhonda White filled the center position. * Rhonda' White has come over to gingette via hockey and is doing a super job. (Nice work Rhonda - "Now if we can just keep you out of the penalty box!) Cheryl Doher- ty was Childrens choice for the Sportsmanship award while Bonnie Bridge picked up the honour for "Chris Allen. Sunday saw Ives florist journey to Oshawa to play against a top team at Har- mond Park. What a game! Port led most of the way and Oshawa had to play 'catch up" Ringette most of the evening. At the final whistle Oshawa had squeaked out a 7 to 6 win. Port's team played a super game. Rhona, White scored all six goals with Pam' Daniels and Janet Dean both picking up a pair of assists. Lori Spears had a single assist. Michelle Andrews had a great game between the pipes. This was super Ringette. Congratulations girls on a job well done. Baptist h | by Danny Millar The Port Perry Baptist Church won its fourth game without a loss as they wal- loped the Lindsay Baptists 10-1 at Manvers on Sat December 2nd. In the four games they have played, Port has scored thirty goals and allowed only two. Port Perry hit the score- board fifty-one seconds into the game when some aggres- sive forechecking and a key Lindsay mistake enabled Dave Harris to score on a shot from Brian Payne. Port took a two goal leaa when brothers John and Harry Michel teamed up to score on a shot from the point. On Monday November 27 they travelled to Stouffville where a very evenly match- ed pair of teams battled to a 1-1 tie. On Wednesday, November 29, Port were hosts to a team from Whitby. Port came out the losers of this game with a score of 4-2. On Friday, December 1, Port were host team against Beaverton. Port was on the scoreboard quickly with Brad Menzies' goal when he out-foxed Beaverton's goalie and slipped it in at the corner. The captain Warren Geer received the assist on this goal.
