Mr. and Mrs. Allan Wray are the happy god- parents to Michael. I am sure Phyllis gave Linda her support on this special day. Last Saturday Mr. and Mrs."Glen Wanamaker were also present at the Wana- maker gathering held at PORT PERRY STAR -- Wed., January 24, 1979 -- 29 Bert and Gertie's. Glen and Marjorie. The Greenbank Ladies Auxiliary of Scouting will hold their meeting at Seagrave church on Jan. 24th at 8:00 p.m. Please try and attend. NOTICE OF APPLICATION to The Ontario Municipal Board by The Corporation of the Township of Scugog for approval of a by-law to regulate land use passed pursuant to Sec- tion 35 of The Planning Act. TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Scugog intends to apply to The Ontario Municipal Board pursuant to the provisions of Section 35 of The Planning Act for approval of By-law No. 72-78 passed on the 11th day of December, 1978. A copy of the by-law is furnished herewith and a note giving an explanation of the purpose and effect of the by-law and stating the lands affected thereby is also furnished herewith. ANY PERSON INTERESTED MAY, within twenty-one (21) days after the date of this notice, send by registered mail or deliver to the clerk of the Township of Scugog notice of objec- tion to approval of the said by-law or part thereof giving details of all or the portion of the by-law to which you object and detailed reasons therefor, and shall indicate that if a hearing is held the objector or an agent will attend at the hearing to support the objection. ANY PERSON wishing to support the application for approval of the by-law may within twenty-one (21) days after the date of this notice send by registered mail or deliver to the clerk of the Township of Scugog notice of his support of approval of the said by-law together with a request for notice of any hearing that may be held giving also the name and address to which such notice should be given. THE ONTARIO MUNICIPAL BOARD may approve of the said by-law but before doing so it may appoint a time and place when any objection to the by-law will be considered. LOB 1NO The purpose of By-law No. 72-78 is to amend the Zoning By-laws of the former Townships of Reach, Scugog and Cartwright to prohibit the use of trailers and mobile homes in all zones except Agricultural and then only as a second temporary dwelling for farm related use for a maximum period of three years by Agreement with the Municipality in accordan- ce with the conditions stated. THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SCUGOG BY-LAW NO. 72-78 BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 1886 OF THE FORMER TOWNSHIP OF REACH, BY-LAW NO. 1175 OF THE FORMER TOWNSHIP OF SCUGOG, AND BY-LAW NO. 1161 OF THE FORMER TOWNSHIP OF CARTWRIGHT. PART II 1. That By-Law No. 1175 of the former Township of Scugog shall be amended as follows: A. By adding to Section 2 the following subsections (s), (t), and (u) to read as follows: "'2(s) Mobile Home: A Mobile Home shall mean any dwelling that is designed to be made mobile, and constructed or manufactured to provide a permanent residence for one or more persons, but does not include a travel trailer or tent trailer or trailer otherwise designed. (t) Trailer: A Trailer shall mean a single-wide vehicle or structure so constructed that it is suitable for being attached to a motor vehicle for the purpose of being drawn or propelled by the motor vehicle and capable of being used for the living, sleeping or eating accomodations of persons, notwithstanding that such vehicle or structure is jacked up or that its running gear is removed. (u) Recreational Vehicle: Shall mean any mobile camper, truck camper, motorized motor home or other vehicle designed for temporary use for the purpose of sleeping or eating accomodation of persons." B. By adding new subsections 4(i) and 4(j) to read as follows: *'4(i) Exception No. 2: Trailers: The use of trailers and other Recreational Vehicles is prohibited in all zones except in licenced seasonal Trailer Parks to be d Law. That By-law No. 1886 of the former Township of Reach, as amended, be further amen- ded as follows: i A. By adding to Section 2 new subsections (78), (79) and (80) to read as follows: "2 (78) Mobile Home: A Mobile Home shall mean any dwelling that is designed to be made mobile, and constructed or manufactured to provide a permanent residence for one or more persons, but does not include a travel trailer or tent trailer or trailer otherwise designed. (79) Trailer: A trailer shall mean a single-wide vehicle or structure so constructed that it is suitable for being attached to a motor vehicle for the purpose of being drawn or propelled by the motor vehicle and capable of being used for the living, sleeping or eating accomodation of persons, notwithstanding that such vehicle or structure is jacked up or that its running gear is removed. o (80) Recreational Vehicle: Shall mean any mobile camper, truck camper, motorized motor home or other vehicle designed for temporary use for the purpose of sleeping or eating accomodations of persons." B. By re-numbering Section 6(14) as Section 6(14)Xa) and adding a new subsection 6(14)b) to read as follows: ] ""6(14) (b) The use of a Mobile Home is prohibited in all zones except that it may be permitted in Al and A2 zones as a second dwelling unit on a lot if installed in accor- dance with the provisions of Section 6(27) of this By-Law." C. By adding new subsections 6(26) and 6(27) to read as follows: "'6(26) Trailers: The use of Trailers and other Recreational Vehicles is prohibited in all zones except in licenced seasonal trailer parks to be designated by amendment to this By-law. } 6(27) Mobile Homes: The use of Mobile Homes is prohibited in all zones.
