Denker. This lightweight contemporary piece was centred around Sammy and Laura, two lonely pensioners who horrified their adult children with plans to co- habitate without the benefit of clergy. This empathetic couple were depicted com- pletely and sympathetically by Ed Daigle and Emmie. The cattle thus raised will be distributed to the underprivi- _leged to help raise their standard of living. It has been asked why the organi- zation did not work through Care or be Government sponsored. It was found that this entailed too much red tape and was too expensive. Happily, everything worked out under David Ellis' direction, and the dismayed progeny all accepted their new-found family unit. The Senior citizens then revealed their true intent -- matrimony -- to climax the plot and the play. A gentle waltz saw them into their sunset years.
