On Sunday, Mrs. Trudi Zingg and her children from Gravenhurst were out for a drive and naturally ended up visiting friends around their old home at Cedar Shores (formerly owned by Powells). 'As.it was impos- sible to visit all former friends, Trudi wished to be remembered to them. A week ago, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hortop of Cedar Shores took a long weekend from their duties to motor to Stanhope,. Quebec near Sherbrooke to visit their daughter and her family, part of which is a lively 18 month old granddaughter. We were recently told that Mrs. Gilbert, the wife of our former minister Rev. C.C. Gilbert (1962 - 1965) had passed away March 17. For several years she had lived in a nursing home. Last week Linda Samells and Tammie Veltri accom- panied Mrs. Reta Reader to Toronto and Barrie for a few days of sight seeing and visiting friends. Previous to this Tammie had two weeks in Florida and Miami. On Saturday, Linda attended the dog show in Toronto with another friend.
