A large crowd attended church services yesterday and enjoyed the special music provided by the young people of the community. Keep it up folks. There were two chris- tenings, Edward Albert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Jones of Ottawa, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hood, Toronto, and great grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Howard McMillan; the second baby was Tiffany Enjelyn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Sallai, Oshawa granddaughter of Mrs. Luba Witzack of Port Perry. About thirty relatives were entertained to dinner at Mr. and Mrs. Howard McMil- lan's after the christening. Callers at Myrtle Thomas' recently were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Stouffer of Stouffville, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Clark Prince Albert and Grant and Sonja Kerry. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Diamond entertained their families from Agincourt and Ottawa. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Ball and David visit at Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lee's. Mrs. Ed Bain spent the weekend in Cape Cod. Brian and Trevor have been chosen to play on the Midget I team that is going to Denmark in Decem- ber. A fund raising dance will be held on May 26. Each of the boys will have tickets. Congratulations to Brian and Trevor. Mrs. Mel McGee and Debbie spent the week in Windsor with daughter Cathie. Also they will do Highway 12 from Saintfield to the 7th Con. Ward 1. Nestleton, Caesarea Deanna and Rhonda, Black- stock were Friday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Grahame Fish. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Smith, and Penny, Hampton spent Friday evening with them. Mr. and Mrs. Fish had Satur- day evening supper with Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Holland of Port Hope. Sunday morning Nita and Grahame had Easter breakfast with Mr. and Mrs. Dan Corby and Paul. All attended Church after.
