Sprules. The motto is "How good a new idea is, depends on, how much heat it has, and how much cold water has been thrown on it." The reply will be made by Mrs. T. Croxall. Hostesses for the evening will be Mrs. L.. Meyers and Mrs. L. Pogue. Miss Darlene Lyons is home from Trent University for a week. On Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lyons, Dianne and Peter of Omemee and David Lyons of Uxbridge visited with their mother Mrs. Hildreth Lyons and on Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Allen Lyons and Jason of Sandy Hook visited Mrs. Lyons. Mrs. Gladys Evans of Uxbridge has returned home after the winter in Deep River with Tom and Doreen Pickett. Miss Mildred Evans of Toronto was home with Ross and Barbara and girls were a welcoming commit- tee. All the rest of the family called as all were anxious to see Tom and Doreen before they returned home. Welcome home to Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wilson who returned on Wed. from their winter home in Florida. Both look refreshed from their holiday. Mrs. Bowmanville, Don Royle and Linda Lunney were dinner Berlyn Martin of guests on Sun. with Mr. and Mrs. John Begin. On Sunday Mrs. Begin also called on Mrs. Linda Littler and family of Thornhill and Mrs. Lil Hall of Scar- borough. Mrs. Jean Jeffery accom- panied Dr. Pat Asling and Ivan to have a lovely visit with Mrs. Wm. Asling at Fairview Lodge on Friday. Sunday lunch guests with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Anderson were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Anderson, Gale and Johnny of Oakwood, then in the afternoon Bill, Deanna and Lisa visited Deanna's mother Mrs. Marjorie Vance of 'Oshawa for supper. Deanna's brother Ken and his wife were also present. The Good Friday morning breakfast and service at the Church was well attended and all had an enjoyable time. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Wilson and Jason, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Wilson and Michael were dinner guests out Friday evening.
