Can anything be done about it? The Federal Business Development Bank thinks so. They have prepared a special seminar entitled "Increasing Your Profits", which will be presented at the Railroad- house Motor Motel on Wednesday, May 23rd, 1979. The seminar has been prepared with the small business operator in mind and provides many helpful hints on cost control and profit improvement. Many local business people are expected to attend and early registration is encouraged. Full information can be obtained by calling Manage- ment Services Dept. at 576-6800. . This seminar is being of services to the small business community. Each of its branches is, in fact, a development centre, with both financial and non-finan- cial assistance being readily available. As well as the series of the management training seminars of which "Increasing Your Profits" is a part, information is provided at every one of its branches on the many Federal and Provincial Government programmes which have been designed for the small business operator.
