Cornish band played at the United Church Anniversary in Port Perry on Sunday. Several pupils from the area were partici- pating. The Epsom Utica Social Club, families and friends are invited to attend, "Musically Speaking" by Uxbridge Choral Society in the Music Hall Friday May 18 at 8 pm. After the programme there will be a social hour at the Taylor home. Ladies bring light refreshments. Tickets are available from the Aslings or the Taylors who are co-hosts for the meeting. Mrs. Mary Wilson was a visitor on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wilson. Miss Anne Tapscott atten- ded the "Northeast School of Dancing" recital in Uxbridge on Friday evening. Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. David Watson, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Ashton attended the Wednesday night' Bowling League Banquet at the Legion Hall in Uxbridge on Saturday evening. Mrs. Wm. Anderson and Lisa attended a family gathering at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Murray Newman at Bowmanville in honour of her aunt, Mrs. Velma Flewell who was celebrating a birthday. On Saturday evening Julie Ashton, Tracy and Chris Watson, Jeff and Chris Potter attended the Youth Bowling Banquet at the Parish Hall in Uxbridge. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Asling took their grandsons Robt. and Jamie Ashton to visit Great Grandmother Asling at Fairview Lodge on Sunday.
