Mr. and Mrs. Glen Till and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Real and family were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. Till. The Young People's Volleyball team played Port Perry team at the United Church in Port Perry one night last week. Mrs. L. Cookman of Sunderland was a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Cookman. Mr. and Mrs. F. Phoenix were Mother's Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Hancock of Warminster. The Green Beans Bow- ling team were winners of their games and won the trophy and_ other prizes presented to them at their banquet at Evelyn Grill in Uxbridge. The Opening of Scugog Shores Museum on Secugog Island this Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are sure you will be anxious to be present when the Lieutenant Governor Pauline McGibbon will officially open the museum for 1979. Greenbank UCW hold busy meeting by Helen Thomson The Evening Unit of the Greenbank U.C.W. met in the Church basement on Wednesday, May 2nd. Eunice Rahm and Helen Parish took charge of the Devotional, their theme being "Trees and Flowers". Dianne Baylis favoured us with two lovely solos, with Betty Stone at the piano. Elma Roundell, President, conducted the Business portion. The Minutes and Correspondence were read by Eunice Rahm, Secretary. Treasurer . Marie Foster gave the Treasurer's report. Elma reminded us of the * Regional Rally on Thursday, May 10, at Sunderland United Church. Registration at 9:15 a.m. 16 members answered the Roll Call with a plant exchange. Manchester 4-H by Samantha Espley Another thrilling 4-H season has begun again. This unit deals with fitness, pressing flowers and lots of outdoor activities. Our president, Janet Lamb and the leaders, Mrs. Kingstone and Bev Mulder have this unit well under way. We will be hiking at Purple Hill Conservation Area, where we will cook our lunch THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF DURHAM Notice to Water & Sewer Customers in Port Perry & Prince Albert and observe wildlife. Water Meter Installation Program This is to advise all water customers in Port Perry and Prince Albert that the Region is currently undertaking a water meter installation program wl your area. Van Construction, acting as the Region's agent, will be performing the installation of the meters. The program will take approximately seven months to complete.
