It is not the quiet and slow paced life depicted in former years. That is long gone. Ideally, an identified hazard should be eliminated. Where this is not feasible machine guards and personal protective equipment should be used. The use of personal protective equipment in agriculture is as necessary as it is in other industries where its value has long been recognized. Its use eliminates injuries or lessens their severity. It is needed in many farming operations like handling pesticides, operating machinery, undertaking general maintenance, or when trimming trees, to suggest just a few. The campaign's theme for Farm Safety Week 1979 is ""Protec- tive equipment....it's personal!' The Week is sponsored by the Canada Safety Council in co-operation with Agriculture Canada and is endorsed by several interested organizations. Your involvement and support are needed to help make Canadian farms better and safer places on which to work and live. * SUPER VALUE 30" Deluxe Range Automatic Clock Controlled Oven 2 Large - 2 Small Elements Exclusive No-Turn Speed Broil Infinite Heat Switches $389.95 Available in Colour $10.00 Extra oe LL Te TNT Te ITT] TUTTI ITT HTT Te TTT Te ITT o [TTT] THE CHILDREN'S BOUTIQUE Sew bh uy bw iad Wh ab hb LAA LED Junior Swimsuits - Tops & Shorts - Blouses 158 Queen Street - Port Perry Summer Sale Starts Thursday, July 19th - 10:00 A.M. 1/3 OFF i Girls' & Boys' Coats & Jackets Skirts - Dresses - Sportswear Boys' & Young Men's Suits 20% OFF Girls' & Boys' Short Sleeve T-Shirts Girls' & Boys' Shorts Girls' & Boys' Sunsuits Girls' & Boys' Sleepwear Infants' Jumpsuits & Pant Sets 1/3 OFF Junior Size Slacks & Skirts 20% OFF SELECTED '% PRICE RACKS (Merchandise Not Exactly as Illustrated) Me Lae Le LTT Te TTT TTT Te TTT TTT fe LL LLL Le LLL le Le mim ST I ORCC CIS 30" Deluxe SELF-CLEAN Top-of-the-Line CUSTOM 30" SELF-CLEANING With Smooth Top Black Glass - Speed Broil $100.
