While working under his car, Kenneth Hansen had the misfortune of receiving a very bad burn but hospitaliz- ation has done much for him in his recovery. The Zinggs former- ly lived at Cedar Shores Beach and made many friends on the Island. Starting the first of Sep- tember there will be new tenants at the Island Church Manse. We welcome this young family from Port Perry. The 4 H Club will start: their new course in '"'needle- point" about the middle of September. Will interested girls please contact Mrs. Ralph Hortop or Mrs. Rod- ney Chandler. The "Grace" U.C.W. will start it's fall programs a week early on August 29 at the home of Mrs. Elsie Pogue. It will take the form of a noon luncheon. We trust this one will gain as much interest as the last one. Next Sunday after the ser- vice at the Island Church there will be a meeting to set an Anniversary date, to dis- cuss further repairs and plan Autumn Services. Board members please arrange toy be present. At the Church service next Sunday Mrs. Lonsdale will be present to share her fine vocal talents with us.
