Afternoon callers with Mrs. Argue, her daughter, Mrs. Hodge and grandson Tommy were Mr. Adam Sharp, Miss Clara Page of Enniskillen and grandson Johnny Hodge of Port Hope. The Blackstock Couples Club will meet on Saturday evening at the home of Don and Carol Harris in the form - of a card party. All interest- ed couples are invited. A community baby shower in honour of Debbie Curl and daughter Tara was co-hosted by Bett Sawyer and Cheryl Vogal. It was held in the home of Bette Sawyer on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 12 and was at- tended by the ladies of Cad- mus. On Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Graham and family hosted a reunion of the mem- bers of Harvey's class of the Kemptville Agricultural School. Over 30 attended from many points of Ontario. Quite a number stayed over Saturday night in Port Perry and returned to Breezy Acres on Sunday for further visiting and tours of the area. Last Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bradburn and Donald, Doug Bradburn of Janetville, Mrs. Helen Brad- burn and Ronald, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Oxley of Oshawa attended the twenty-fifth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Watson of Coboconk. There will be a community shower for several couples on November 2 in the Recre- ation Centre. Mark your calendar now. " Mr. Mervyn Graham and 'Mr. M. Bauchen are both patients in Port Perry Hospi- tal. Better health is wished to both of these gentlemen. There will be a rideathon for the'Riding for the Handi- capped Association this Sat- urday from the Hoskin Stables. On Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mahaffy were guests at the wedding of Bill's niece, the Preston-Mountjoy wedd- ing in Trinity United Church in Bowmanville.
