Yes, we've spent the last week and a half offering the students a very good deal with our activity cards. If parents are wondering where $4.00 disappeared to out of their pocket, it was probably invested! in our money-saving offet. Our sales went over very well this year and those students who bought a card are in for a lot of great deals and a lot of fun! ' Last Friday's football game was cancelled due to bad weather, but that gives our boys all the more time to practice up and be ready for the next one. One cancellation certainly didn't lead to another, for our first sucker sale of the year was held Friday and turned out to be a great success! There will be plen- ty more to follow. Elections for classroom representatives of the stud- ent council have gotten und- erway this week. We wel- come all of the new members into our council and we will expect to see you out at our first meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 26th. On Friday the nines must dress up and the traditional fun- natured initiating begins. This may include rolling pennies down the hall with your nose, singing songs, or making silly proposals, but all is to be in good taste.
