At least not judging by the number of people browsing through the old arena on the weekend when the Port Perry Snowmobile Club host- ed its annual Snow Show '80. From the many. types of snowmobiles manufactured in the past, production is now narrowed down to only a few and everyone of these were represented. Even the upcoming winter sport of cross-country skiing was well displayed at two of the booths. Also on the floor were many types of winter supplies such as oil, chain- saws, snow-blowers, and ev- ONTARIO FEDERATION Q SNOWMOBI en a log-splitter! An interesting and well attended new event this year was the showing of snowmo- bile films in the upper area and this must have put people "in the mood". The club's theme for the show is mainly to introduce the public to the new line of machines for the upcoming season and many of the dealers certainly obliged by presenting many "specials" for the buyers.
