If your house is like ours you've been busy cutt- ing out pumpkins for Jack O' Lanters, costume making and decorating the windows with flying witches, ghosts, bats and black cats not to mention preparing goodies for the multitude of little people Wednesday night. A few dates to circle on your calenday and plan to attend are November 3rd- Christmas Bazaar hosted by Greenbank-Seagrave Ladies Auxiliary of Scouting being held in Greenbank church from 10 am. to 1 p.m. Choose from a bake table, white elephant and craft items. Also November 3rd at 8 p.m. in Seagrave United Church a community shower for Gord Durward and Jane Terrill is planned. Ladies please bring lunch. Again on November 3rd at 1 p.m. Tables are to be set up for the upcoming turkey supper. Your committee would appreciate help from the male sector of the com- munity at this time. : Wednesday November 7 beginning at 4 p.m. Seagrave annual turkey supper. Saturday November 17, Unit II gals and husbands are invited to a 'Games Night" at our home beginn- ing at 8:30 p.m. A Pot Luck lunch is the order of the evening. Friday evening Mrs. Mari- lyn and Diane Puckrin attended a reunion of school friends at the BoPeep Res- taurant in Oshawa and on to the home of Mrs. John Piper for gales of laughter viewing old pictures and old times PORT PERRY STAR -- Wed., October 31, 1979 -- 9 together. Church services were can- celled Sunday because of a heating problem. Next Sun- day we are invited to wor- ship in Greenbank United Church as they celebrate their Church Anniversary. Sunday School will meet at 10 a.m. in the Sunday School room. Last Wednesday night the Brownies met for their meet- ing and the girls that were enrolled were Beth McKay, Amy Lynne Wanamaker, Kristy Hutcheon, Krista Carr, Sheila Hopmans, Lori Hillis, Tina Carr and Terri Hicks.
