The report was submitted to the Township council at the regular planning meeting Monday afternoon. I.G.A. store manager Jim Grieve was present at the meeting and received a copy of the detailed report. He told council it would probab- ly be a few days before a flood controls decision is made on whether to proceed with the addition and comply with the recommendations concern- ing the watercourse. The proposed 30 foot addition would go over top of the small stream that flows across the property, under Queen Street and then along the west side of the bowling green. The report says that if an addition is to be built in this area, nine conditions should be met including the flood- proofing of the addition and the real estate office next to the store, the building of dykes around potential flood areas, and an overland flood route across Queen Street.
