Out of 28 contes- tants 23 made it the entire 12 hours. During this time a vast repetoire of songs was provided by Brian Mikkelsen and Stephen Kristensen. Thanks, guys! Approxim- ately $800.00 was made from the dance-a-thon, so a cheque for $160.00 will be sent to the:cancer society, as soon as the sponsor money is brought in. At 6:45 Saturday morning the Port Perry Star arrived to take pictures of the few remaining, sleepy- eyed dancers. A big thanks go to Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Taylor, Janet Parsons, Ross Leadbetter, Mr. R.J. Scott, Mr. G. The tickets will become available to the members for the first time at the January meeting. A telephone poll will be made concerning the problem of Tuesday evening meetings during the Curling Season. The children's play Bracko the Prince Frog was recommended to the mothers present as suitable entertainment for their children. The play will be presented in Port Perry on Nov. 30, Dec. 1 and 2.
