McClelland The Port Perry MoJacks have been eliminated from the Junior C playoffs with a 7-6 loss to the Port Hope Panthers Sunday evening in Port Hope. MoJacks had forced the fifth and deciding game in this quarter final series with an impressive 8-4 victory over the Panthers Saturday night in Port Perry. However, some untimely penalties and a host of missed chances spelled the difference for Port Perry on Sunday night, and the loss in the Port Hope Arena marked the fifth time this season that MoJacks failed to beat the Panthers on the road. Panthers jumped into an early 1-0 lead at 7:58 as Rick Evans found the range from a scramble in front of goalie Raymond Gibson. The goal came just seconds after MoJacks had killed off a two man disadvantage with minors to defenseman Bill Owen and Greg Dwyer. Rob Greiner got that one back two minutes later when he stole the puck behind the Panther net, walked out in front and slid the puck under Joe Pokusa. But at 14:47, Panthers Terry Watt put his team ahead for good with a sliding shot from the left side on a two on one break with the teams playing five aside.
