2 -- PORT PERRY STAR -- Wed., February 13, 1980 "Lumber truck oe r walks away An Oshawa truck driver escaped injury last Friday morning when his truck and trailer loaded with lumber flipped on its side on High- way 12. An OPP spokesman said that Eugene Solotorow, of Oshawa was southbound about 11:30 a.m. coming out of an S-curve on Highway 12, just south of the 8th Conces- sion Road. The trailer tires went onto the shoulder, then flipped onto its side, pulling the flat-bed truck and cab over as well. Police say the driver was travelling about 30 M.P.H. when the accident occurred. Although the driver was not injured, the load of some 30 tons of rough lumber was scattered over the side of the highway, keeping a work crew busy most of the after- noon picking up the boards, and slowing traffic on the highway.
