A happy afternoon with neighbours was spent at the home of Marion Slater when she hosted a miscellaneous shower in honour of Mary Ann Brooks (nee Middleton). Mr. and Mrs. Brooks who were recently married are living in Whitby. We are sorry Mrs. Herb Ashton is in Port Perry hospital. We all hope Pearl will soon be well again. Welcome home to Mr. and Mrs. John Cincurah who have been vacationing in Arizona also to Mr. and Mrs. Sydney Emm who have had a holiday in Florida. Last Sunday was the second Sunday in Lent and Rev.
