Up bright Sunday morning we travell- ed to Oro for our final game of the tournament. Although Stayner came out the victors of the game by a score of 6-4 our girls still played a super game. Diane McDougall emerged our star for the day. Chalk- "ing up two assists on Lisa and Natalie Franssen's goals, Diane then proceeded to score herself, unassisted. The final goal was put in the net by Kelly Raines, assisted by Lisa Canning's and early Canning. Thanks to Lisa and Kelly for coming down from the Juniors for the day to help us because we were short hand- ed due to illness. The Tween's team biggest drawback this year seemed to be experience. With Ringette being so new in Port five of the eleven Tweens were first year girls. Now with a bit of learning under their track pants look out next year. Once again thanks coach Denise Crawford and manager Janey Thorton for taking the time for the girls and the patience with the parents, it is so greatly appreciated.
