Mr. and Mrs. Ross Real arrived home from a Florida holiday on Friday and Dawn Real and Janice Till flew south on Saturday for a week. Past Saturday evening dinner guests with Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Strong were Mr. and Mrs. Don Gerrow and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Blueman Annual Oshawa Art exhibition The date of the Oshawa Art Association 13th Annual Juried Exhibition is fast approaching. Opening Night is Tuesday, April 29th, 8:00 p.m. at the Robert McLaugh- lin Gallery. The show will run to May 10th. It is hoped that the return of the Juried Exhibition to the McLaugh- lin Gallery after an absence of many years will bring out a large crowd to see the show. Our guest speaker will be Ms. Pat Fletcher, Editor, Art Magazine, Toronto. Refreshments will be served and everyone is welcome. Artists interested in enter- ing work in the medium of sculpture, paintings in any medium, prints or drawings, may obtain entry forms and rules at_ the Robert McLaughlin Gallery, the Oshawa Public Library, the Whitby Public Library, the Station Gallery, The Studio Gallery, M. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Deeth returned home on Tuesday from a vacation in Florida. Prince Albert extends sympathy to Mrs. Denise Thorn in the loss of her dear husband on Wednesday. Several couples from Prince Albert attended the Shorthorn Dinner and Banquet on Wednesday April 2 at the Blackstock Recrea- tion Centre. Sunday morning services at Prince Albert United Church saw several visitors, Bill Wanamaker welcomed people at the door, Bruce Snelgrove gave a violin selection during the service. Michelle Andrews, Robert Dantzer, Donald Clodd, Stephen Dearborn and Carol Dantzer were all welcomed into the church by Clerk of Session, Jim Martin. Lila Clarke on behalf of the U.C.W. gave each new member a gift. Collection was gathered by Bill Ross and Bill Wanamaker. Con- gratulations to the five childrene who joined the church. On Friday, April 4th, the Venning clan gathered at Mr. and Mrs. Doug McMillans to help Linda's Mom celebrate her birthday. Happy birthday Mrs. Venning from Prince Albert. Then on Sunday, Doug and Linda travelled to Seagrave to join in on another birthday celebration. This time it was Doug's sister.
