The meeting was called to DEPARTMENT Port Perry order by the President Barbara Boagey. Mrs. Flossie Aldred, one of our older and faithful members was given 'a lovely corsage on the occasion of her birth- day. A lovely layette was given by Manchester U.C.W. and several lovely knitted articles were turned in. For Easter a little plant was given to each patient from the auxiliary. Mr. Brown reported on the Gas machine, hoping it would soon arrive. . He also - asked us if we would look after the lunch for the Annual Board Meeting being held on June 11th. Hazel Coates gave her report with 9 girls and 10 boys arriving since March 17. She also has lots of wool to hand out. Thelma McCreight reported for the volunteers. A good report came from the Spring Conference held in Uxbridge. Mary Cannon reported on the Spring Fair Saturday May 3. We hope for a good turnout. The meeting closed and lovely cake and tea was served. The cake being made for Flossie's birthday by Barbara and Gertie.
