Six members who joined the lodge on the same night in March 1955 were presented with their 25 year jewels. The fact that these brothers are still members and participants is in itself quite noteworthy. The sharing of reminiscences and ideas reflected some of the good fellowship shared throughout the years. The presentation of the jewels was carried out by Brother Earl Martyn who was Noble friend of Warriner Lodge 25 years ago. This was done in a very capable manner. The recipients being Brothers C. Bourgeois, M. Heayn, R. Hope, W. Tripp, B. Simpson, and A. Harper and some of the brothers expres- sed their appreciation and thanks. Also on this night a more - notable achievement was reached when Brother M. Fralick and S. Ploughman were presented with their 50 year jewels. To belong to any organiza- tion for 50 years is in itself a distinction. To be an active participant in all those years is more noteworthy still, and this was commented upon by Bro. G. Wanamaker, P.G.M. of Ontario in making these presentations. The entire evening was conducted by Past Grands of this lodge with Bros. G. Geer acting as Noble Grand and Bro. M. Bruce as Vice Grand which added a touch of nostalgia to the evening but also included a lively discussion on the future of the lodge. It is noteworthy to recall that Warriner Lodge has been active in this commun- ity without any break or interruption since 1871 and would welcome anyone who considers good fellowship and assisting the community as part of their life to join us.
