Due to illness the president, Mrs. M."'McKean was unable to attend so Mrs. Iva Phoenix vice president chaired the meeting, wel- coming everyone, and read a poem On Spring. The Open- ing Ode was sung, followed by the Mary Stewart Collect. The roll call was answered by Bring a Neighbour and Share a dream. Minutes and Treasurers report was giben by Mrs. A. McMillen. The W.I. bus trip was discussed for later in June. Séme suggested a trip to the Erland Lee home at Stony Creek and to the Botannical gardens at Hamilton. Details will be made known later. Hill reported for Citizenship and World affairs stating a Durham Home for the aged is to be finished with 50 more beds available. Mrs. F.
