A pot luck luncheon will be served following the 11:30 a.m. service. The ladies of the community are asked to bring a casserole and a dessert. Everyone is welcome. Darlene Gibson, Muriel Gibson, Dale Ridge and Mrs. B. Newman were luncheon guests at the Holiday Inn, Toronto on Saturday. Blanchard, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Innes motored to Elora to visit Frank's brother, one day last week. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Neil Hunter visited their daughter Pat and family in Guelph. they were accom- panied by Aunt Jean Hunter, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Symons, Bob, Linda and family and Jim and Shirley. We are sorry to report Mrs. Olive Lee has a broken bone in her foot. Mr. and Mrs.Jack Couper- thwaite attended the 99th birthday party for Aunt Anna Thomas in Toronto on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman ""Nicholis of Uxbridge were visitors with Mrs. Myrtle Thomas one day last week. Greenbank Womens Institute Greenbank Womens Institute held their May meeting on the 21st at the home of Mrs. Toni Minton. Due to illness the president, Mrs. M."'McKean was unable to attend so Mrs. Iva Phoenix vice president chaired the meeting, wel- coming everyone, and read a poem On Spring. The Open- ing Ode was sung, followed by the Mary Stewart Collect. The roll call was answered by Bring a Neighbour and Share a dream. Minutes and Treasurers report was giben by Mrs. A. McMillen. The W.I. bus trip was discussed for later in June. Séme suggested a trip to the Erland Lee home at Stony Creek and to the Botannical gardens at Hamilton. Details will be made known later. Mrs. Phoenix reported on the museum stating we have a new curator and also a sponsor for the Canoe race in June would be welcome. Mrs. H. Hill reported for Citizenship and World affairs stating a Durham Home for the aged is to be finished with 50 more beds available. Mrs. F. Phoenix reported on Agriculture and Canadian Industries and Mrs. A.Couves on Education and World Affairs. The motto, A sermon is a good example was taken by Mrs. M. Lee. We then enjoyed a social hour by playing Court Whist. After singing Institute Grace we enjoyed lunch in the beautiful garden.
