"From the moment he first saw the stallion, he knew it would either destroy him, or carry him where 10 one had ever been before... The Bluegrass Blues Although the weather was perfect for an outdoor concert last Sunday, Bluegrass 'n Scugog held at the Fairgrounds was a disappointment for the Port Perry Kinsmen Club. Three bluegrass groups, East Ohio Grass [above]; Cross Fire [left] and Port Perry's Pinehill Fever performed during the afternoon to a small, but appreciative audience. A Kinsmen spokesman told the Star the Club will lose money on this venture as a substantial committment was made in hiring the groups. This was the Kinsmen"s first attempt in promoting this type of show.
