Tania Terry of Janetville was just one of hundreds of kids to take part in the Blackstock Fair last Saturday. It was a hot afternoon, and a visit to the swine cages found this fella relaxing on a pile of straw. He has travelled to his native land to be with his family there at this time. Mr. Keith VanCamp trav- elled to Ottawa Exhibition following our fair to judge sheep there on Sunday and Monday. Tractor Pull followers attended the Pull in Ux- bridge on Friday and Satur- day evenings. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Atfield of Toronto spent the weekend with Marie's parents Mr. and Mrs. Merrill VanCamp and participated in the many fair activities, Mr. and Mrs. George Wolfe attended the Eastern Agricultural Conference in Burlington, Vermont last week. Rev. Hyacinth Booth of Jamaica is presently visiting Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Larmer here and the Rev. and Mrs. Phillip Romeril of Port Perry. Barry VanCamp who has recently taken employment with Morrie Nurseries at Niagara-on-the-Lake was home for the fair weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Batty and family, Coboconk were Saturday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. ARETE LF EN many onlookers during the heavy horse judging. Harold Crawford and Ken. Elizabeth Kelly returned home on Wed. from a three week Guide exchange with London-over-the Border Guides. She enjoyed a coach tour of Southern England and Wales. She was billeted with Mr. and Mrs. David Page, Natalie, and Simon of Newbury Park and while there did much sjghtseeing in London and area. Ken Whitehead captured the Bronze medal for third place in the senior division at the International Tae-Kwon- do Championships held at the C.N.E. on August 16. Congratulations Ken. Mr. and Mrs. George Bryant and family enjoyed a camping holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Locke and family.
