Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Hoskin entertained their grand- children Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Poff, Miss Patti Hoskin, of Peterborough, Mr. Phil Hoskin of Blackstock for Sunday evening dinner. Later Mr. and Mrs. Ed Till of Greenbank were evening guests of Lorne and Maxine. Mr. and Mrs. John Kris- tensen, Anne, Eric and Stephen attended the wedding of their son and brother Mr. Paul Kristensen and Nedra Leah Horsman in Waterloo on Friday evening. Rosie Fallis was enter- tained at a bridal shower last week at the home of Diny Oosterholt with Karen Lomax as co-hostess.. This happy event was attended by neighbours and friends of the bride-to-be. After the gifts were opened the bride replied fittingly. An enjoy- able evening was concluded with a dainty lunch. Others also celebrating were her Dad Wilf Brown and several nephews. Nancy and Bob Bryans and family visited the Armstrong Funeral Home and attended the service for Nancy's aunt, Ann Gay of Courtice. She had been sick for the past year with, cancer.
