The children enjoy the mini play and the Borelians find that when they come to the real play at the Town Hall they know the characters and have a basic familiarity with the plot that puts the children at their ease. $25,000 winner November 13 proved to be a very lucky day for Brian Newton of Scugog Township. Mr. Newton held the winn- ing ticket in a Wintario draw that day and is $25,000 richer because of it. He told the Star that his mother usually buys the tickets for Wintario, but he was concerned that she might not because the draw was on the 13th. So, he bought a ticket just in case, and it proved to be a'winner. == Mr. Newton, who works for the provincial government, was in Toronto on Monday to collect his cheque and said he'll be putting the money to good use. This was the first time he's had any success playing the lottery game. There is nothing more pleasant to see than the smiling face of young children, and the entire auditorium at R.H. Cornish Public School shone with smiles last week as the Borelians presented a preview of their Christmas play. The one act play entitled "The Toys Take Over Christmas' will be performed at the Town Hall 1873 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 28, 29 and 30.
