Joan Esdale, Markham paid her official visit of Inspection held Thursday evening in the Masonic Temple, Port Perry. As members know the annual inspection is something which every Chapter anticipates and plans for during the weeks preceeding the event. Itis a stimulating evening with all officers on their toes striving for perfection in their work. Thursday evening was no exception. Sister Joan was complimentary in her official remarks and gave a most encouraging report, speaking briefly of the efforts of each member in his or her particular office and what it entailed. Worthy Matron Stella Dennis with the assistance of Worthy Patron Arnold Taylor extended a cordial welcome to the District Deputy Sister Joan, the faithful members of Blue He Cannot See a News Ray, and the many sisters and brothers from neigh- bouring Chapters who support the Chapter with unfailing enthusiasm. During the - evening members warmly welcomed a new member Veronica Jones into the Chapter. We trust the work of the Order will be-an inspiration and the fellowship of the members meaningful.
