"We both want a community we can be proud of, and we must work hard to maintain a strong and healthy business commun- ity," he said. Mayor Taylor was speak- ing to about 100 members of the Chamber of Commerce at the Port Perry Legion on the occasion of their 25th anniversary in Port Perry. During the regular busi- ness session of their annual meeting, president Howard Hall outlined many of the projects and activities that the Chamber has been responsible for during the 1st, 1981. The Regional Youth Advisory Committee is proud to announce their forthcoming, second annual poster competition. The theme is alcohol and drug abuse prevention. First prize is $100.00 plus a plaque noting the winning student's name, year and school. This award will be presented to the student's school for dis- play for the year. SPORTS Paul Dwyer Secondary School played host to all three Port High boys basket- ball teams on Friday. The Port High Midgets were defeated by a strong Dwyer team.
