Mrs. Crosier accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Elliott Harr- ington to a family dinner, in honour of Mrs. Jean Whel- er's 90th birthday, at the Town and Country Club in Scarborough and open house at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Wheler in Agincourt. Misses Kim and Amy Schofield were weekend visitors with their grandpar- ents Mr. and Mrs. George Harper. Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Schofield were Sunday visitors. Model rocket demonstration In conjunction with the Port Perry Winter Carnival, Do-No's hobby shop in Port Perry will be staging a model rocket demonstration this Saturday. Weather permitting the demonstration will be held on Lake Scugog at the public dock in front of Latcham Centre and get underway about 11:30 Saturday morning. Girl injured A 14-year old Oshawa girl suffered a serious cut on her face in a snowmobile acci- dent Sunday near Port Perry. Debbie Drapak was riding on the back of a machine driven by her father Daniel when it struck a bank around the motorcycle track on Lake Scugog and over- turned. The youngster was re- leased from Port Perry Hospital after receiving treatment for the cut.
