Those who wish to go skating will meet at Uxbridge Arena at 8 p.m. Those who wish to play cards meet in the Sunday School rooms. The skating group will return at 10 p.m. to enjoy lunch and a social hour. The Andersons and Browns will co-host the evening. We are sorry to hear that Mr. Bert Ross is quite ill in Toronto Hospital. Mrs. Ross appreciates the kindness shown by friends and neigh- bours at this time. We hope for a speedy recovery Bert. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Evans and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Wilson attended the annual meeting and banquet of the Holstein Fresian association at the Royal York in Toronto on Wednesday. On Sunday evening Ross and Barbara Evans, Doug and Beth Wilson attended a service in Faith Baptist Church in Oshawa. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Ander- son and children visited Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Anderson on Monday to celebrate Joan's birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Spires and boys of Solina were Sunday dinner guests last Sunday. Miss Lisa Anderson was a weekend guests with Grand- - ma Vance in Oshawa. Recent visitors with the Begins were John's sister Mrs. Marie Perry and Robert of Kitchener, Mr. Stan Luciw of Milton. Miss Maggie McKeigan from North Sidney, Cape Breton called recently, also friends Mr. and Mrs. Ken Green and Kenny Jr. of Toronto, and Mrs. Vi Bar- docz of Richmond Hill. Mrs. J.P. Wilson, Mrs. W.O. Simpson had dinner on Tuesday with daughter Marie Wilson so they could visit with granddaughter Joyce and be better acquainted with great grand- daughter Leah Lewchuk. Epsom School will be participating all three days at the Lions Music Festival at Sunderland. The choir will be directed by Mrs. Coates. It is good to see the child- ren enjoying their outdoor skating rink. Jeffrey. Bev and Linda's mother Mrs. Brown passed away Thursday after many week's in hospital.
