As you readers know, this weekly column is written by a number of volunteers within the Seagrave Area. These writers do their best to write the news fairly and objectively. They are not professional and unlike Lois Lane do not have Superman to aid and abet their efforts. It is impossible for these part-time volunteers to know all that goes on within the community and therefore the onus is on the readers to "notify the weekly corres- pondent of any news worthy of note. All of the writers appreciate your calls before the deadline and the approp- riate number for the follow- ing week's column is always given. On behalf of all the volunteer reporters I would like to thank all those who so conscienciously phone in their news. Your help and consideration make the task of writing this column so much easier. Would you please call Mrs. Jackie Boyle at 985-3941 with your news items for next week's edition. D DURHAM THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY .
