The meeting opened with O'Canada with Ruth Wilson at the piano. Ethel Irvine . welcomed the members and visitors. We had no new members. Irene Philip, secretary, read the minutes which were adopted as read. Byrnsell Webster gave the Treasurer's report. Clara Warren our correspondence secretary gave her report and asked for some money _ for cards and postage. Mary Sweetman gave us the latest travel news and it was decided we would go to Wood bine on June 11th. A good report of the choir was given by Edna Beckett. There will be square dancing March 17th at the nursing home put on by our square dancers. We decided to have a bake .sale on April 22 open to the public at 2:30 p.m. We will have penny bingo on March - 25th and "Touch of Class' on May 27th. Watch Port Perry- Star for these. A vote of thanks was moved to Doris Grierson for: her St. Patrick's decorating. Mizpah Benediction was repeated. At. five thirty we had a lovely Pot Luck Supper and around seven, Lillian and Albert Harper put on a lovely programme of Irish, Scotch wartime . and> modern singing.
