rn or Port Perry Lions host The Port Perry Lions Club ~ hosted the finals of the Lions District -A-16 Oral Com- munications Speaking Competition. Students up to the age of fourteen from 'towns as' far afield as Richmond Hill and Brechin displayed their oratory skills before an audience .of approximately fifty people at the Prince Albert Com- munity Hall on Tuesday, March 31st. The competitors were winners from two regional finals which in turn drew their participants from winners 'of competitions. The standard of speaking was high and Melanie Justice of Richmond Hill was judged the girl winner and Steve Mihonean club . of Unionville the boy winner, ~ District Governor Charles Crockford of Fenelon Falls presented the winners their trophies while.
